Offered up for auction, a very large and rare set Louis XVI candlesticks, fire gilded bronze and marble base.

. Height 80 cm!

. This set of candlesticks are made of extraordinarily high quality bronze and embossing work. The praise work and leaf motifs on the arms are entirely in style and typical of Francois Remond.

. The condition of the fire gilding is completely original and very good. Some deposits and dirt on the gold but consistent with age.

. Candlesticks are completely without damage and complete. (one bobeche is missing)

. This set will be sent partially disassembled as shown in one of the photos. So, the accompanying crown will be unscrewed and it is easy to screw it back up again.

. The package will be sent packed with the utmost care and by registered mail.
