'Landschap met twee figuren' by François Visconti (19th century) , French painter of the Barbizon School. Oil on canvas on panel, 31 x 24 cm. Signed by hand on the bottom left 'F. Visconti'. In excellent condition. The wooden frame measures 42 x 34. 5 cm and is included free of charge. On the back of the wooden frame, the artist wrote in pencil that this work was exhibited in Antwerp, Belgium. Please see the photos for more info and details. Will be sent with track & trace code from Belgium. François Visconti was active in the French region of Fontainebleau from the early 1870s. Although he is not as well known as many of his contemporaries, his works were accepted at exhibitions alongside those by Jean-Baptiste-Camille Corot, Charles-François Daubigny and Narcisse Virgilio Díaz, among others.
