Designed by Frandsen Design Studio and produced by the popular lamp manufactory Frandsen Lightning, Denmark.

Silk pendant gets its inspiration from the beautiful, white cocoon that hangs on a strong straw and sways in the wind - all the while waiting for the beautiful silk butterfly to emerge. Due to the soft, round shapes of the glass and the beautiful matte white surface, the lamp seems silky smooth. If you are into minimalism and brass, the lamp will be a hit. !

About:
In 1968, Benny Frandsen began to manufacture squared and geometrical lamps independently, but soon he figured out that what the Danes really wanted were round lamps and for that reason, he designed his first round lamp, aptly named ”Ball”.
In 1996 name was changed to Frandsen Lighting A/S. Due to an increasing fame worldwide.
In 2005 Frandsen acquired Verpan, a smaller lighting producer that owned the rights to produce Verner Panton’s famous Globe lamps
