Barney (New York, 1862-1954) oil on canvas landscape painting depicting an elderly woman with a cane following three geese up a country road before a copse of trees, with a farmhouse in the distance below a hazy late afternoon sky. Signed and dated "'92" lower left. Housed in a molded gilt wood frame. Sight - 15 5/8" H x 25 1/2" W. Framed - 27 1/2" H x 37 1/4" W. American, late 19th/early 20th century. Provenance: Private Southeast Tennessee collection.
