First British edition of the world's best-selling science fiction novel, published one year after the American edition.

Regarded by many as being the best science-fiction novel of all time. DUNE is undoubtedly one of the great classics of the genre yet it defies belief that the manuscript was rejected by 23 publishers before finally being accepted by Chilton - a company that, up to that point, was known for only publishing automobile repair manuals.

It won the Hugo and the Nebula Awards for Best Novel in 1966, and sales have persisted ever since.
