MAKER: Hallmarked with an ear of corn (stamped) and labeled Frank Vacit. Frank Vacit (19155-1999; Zuni). Active 1930s to 1970s. Vacit was a silversmith, lapidary, and artist, and was an early innovator in mosaic and channel inlay in the 1930s. He worked for C.G. Wallace at Zuni and at Kelsey Trading Company at Zuni.
APPROX AGE: Vintage (meaning somewhere between the 1930s to 1970s).
SIZE: This necklace measures approximately 16 1/4 inches from end to end, and the center pendant measures 1 5/8 inches across (at the widest point) x 2 3/8 inches from top to bottom. The total weight for this item is 32.1 grams.
