Frank W. Rupp Mellon Square Pittsburgh Oil on Canvas

Rupp, Frank W. (American/Pittsburgh, 1913-2003), Mellon Square, Downtown Pittsburgh, c.1970s, signed lower right, 28 x 22 inches, in a wood frame 33.5 x 27.25 inches. The artist, who engraved a jelly bean jar for Ronald Reagan, a plaque for Dwight D. Eisenhower and the Pittsburgh Penguins' Stanley Cup rings, worked as a jeweler in the Clark Building for 50 years.
Condition Report: In good condition, apart from a faint 3-inch scuff at the lower left corner of the William Penn Hotel.
