Corcoran of The Fly Club, in full: "I am perfectly delighted with the 'kitty' sherry glasses which you sent me for Christmas. I am really acquiring a grand collection. You were more than good to send them to me. This takes to you my very best wishes for the happiest of New Years, and the hope that I shall see you‰ÛÓat any rate I hope we shall see you at Anne and John's wedding." In fine condition, with light edge toning. Founded in 1836, the Fly Club is an undergraduate social group at Harvard University, and Roosevelt, as a former student member of the society, attended many of its annual dinners. Roosevelt's youngest child, John Aspinwall Roosevelt (1916‰ÛÒ1981) married Anne Lindsay Clark (1916‰ÛÒ1973) on June 18, 1938, in Massachusetts.
