Franklin Pierce Autograph Letter Signed
ALS, one page, 8 x 10, April 23, 1832. Handwritten letter to Edward Cutts, in part: "Your letter of the 4th inst. enclosing a deed for Eph. Abbot was duly received. I intended to have transmitted this consideration money to you by return of Mail, but immediately after filing the letter and the deed my attention was called from the subject and it did not occur to me again till today." In very good to fine condition, with overall creasing and scattered small stains.
