Franz Bergman Austrian Orientalist Figural Bronze
Franz Bergman (Austrian, 1898-1963). A cold-painted bronze sculpture of an Orientalist man in traditional attire, walking with a stick, and holding a cup in each hand, with a jug strapped to his back. Bergman incised stamp on the back with model #2897. Additionally, the figure is stamped on the underside of his garment "GESCHUTZ" with the number 2, and another 2 is stamped on the underside of the bronze base.
Dimensions: 6.75 X 2.25 X 3.25 in.
Condition: Good to fair overall vintage condition having average surface wear and patina soiling, with paint loss. There is an indentations to the cup in right hand. Estate fresh to the market.
