Beautiful Art Nouveau sculpture by the artist Franz Iffland (1862 - 1915) . Iffland was a German sculptor and painter who worked in the late 19th and early 20th century. He was born in 1862 in Berlin, Kingdom of Prussians. Most of his sculptures were influenced by the Jugendstil movement, but late in his career, in the mid 1920s, he produced a number of Art Deco sculptures. The bust is titled 'Salambô' and is on a pedestal of later date. The sculpture is signed on the back by the artist. The lot will be packaged with care and shipped registered.
