Beautiful Art Nouveau statue from a model by the artist Franz Iffland (1862-1915) . Iffland was a German sculptor and painter who worked in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He was born in 1862 in Berlin, his works were influenced by the Nouveau and Déco movements.
Height approximately 35 cm, weight 4 kg.
The bust bears the title 'L' Ëté'. The statue is signed by the artist on the back.
The wooden part added in the mid-20th century has holes from old woodworms. . .
