Frascarolo Multi-Colored Enamel, 0.20ctw Ruby & Solid 18K Yellow Gold Cat Desk Clock W/Diamond Accents - This whimsical and adorable yet elegant piece was made by Italian jeweler Pierino Frascarolo and was finely crafted of solid 18k yellow gold. Pierino Frascarolo began his career as an apprentice with the Fratelli Lunati company before beginning his own firm with Aldo Lenti. He is well-known for his enamel work and gold animals created throughout the 1960s. This desk clock displays the craftsmanship for which Frascarolo is known, and has an ornate design in the form of an cat decorated with vivid blue guilloche enamel with a red enamel nose. The cat is also finished with approximately fiery white diamond accents, completing the piece beautifully. The piece opens to reveal a clock and is signed "Modele Depose" along with the Italian register mark and gold purity "750". Measurements: 1.75"H x 1"W. Condition: The piece is in very good vintage condition with no major wear on enamel.
