Frascarolo Multi-Colored Enamel, 0.50ctw Emerald & Solid 18K Yellow Gold Owl Desk Clock W/Diamond Accents - This whimsical and adorable yet elegant piece was made by Italian jeweler Pierino Frascarolo and was finely crafted of solid 18k yellow gold. Pierino Frascarolo began his career as an apprentice with the Fratelli Lunati company before beginning his own firm with Aldo Lenti. He is well-known for his enamel work and gold animals created throughout the 1960s. This desk clock displays the craftsmanship for which Frascarolo is known, and has an ornate design in the form of an owl decorated with vivid blue guilloche enamel with white enamel details. The owl is also finished with approximately 0.50ctw cabochon emerald eyes and fiery white diamond accents, completing the piece beautifully. The owl opens to reveal a clock and is signed "Modele Depose" along with the Italian register mark and gold purity "750". Measurements: 1.75"H x 1"W. Condition: The piece is in very good vintage condition with no major wear on enamel.
