Fred Arends was born in 1949. After his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts, he developed as a painter of very detailed paintings. He is passionate about this and very talented. A modern painter who works with traditional methods. He is especially inspired by the great Dutch masters from the 19th century (romantic school) , such as Andreas Schelfhout and Cornelis Springer. His sea views are very beautiful. He is very popular in countries overseas, including the United States. Located in the Spiegelstraat in Amsterdam.
