Pair of suspenders belonging to Freddie Mercury, in stretch cotton, with printed designs of Alpine Stars on a black background. The suspenders were the Freddie Mercury's most used clothing accessory, and those with designs of flowers, edelweiss, ice crystals are the best known. The lot is part of a series of objects that belonged to Freddie Mercury, and donated by Jim Hutton (1949-2010, Freddie Mercury's last companion) to an Italian fan friend of Jim himself, in 1995/96. A photograph of the fan with Jim Hutton and a letter addressed to her by Hutton himself is provided
