Gore', sheet 14.7 x 10.6 cm (unframed) (ARR) Provenance: Royal College of Art, London, RCA Secret exhibition; where purchased by the present owner Note: Son of Spencer Gore, the artist studied in London under Henry Tonks and Mark Gertler, and developed a passion for painting en plein air scenes. He was particularly famous for his landscapes of Greece and Southern France.
