Frederick William Scarborough (1860-1939)
"London Bridge"
Signed, watercolour, together with a companion, "Port of London", 16.5cm by 24cm (2)

See illustration

.London Bridge - In an overall good state of preservation. Possible clean which has reduced some of the clarity of the brushwork, however this may possibly be the result of the artist's technique, especially across the sky. Some minor reduction to overall colour. Slight cockle to paper in line with the chimney of the shipping vessel to left hand side. Very light time staining to paper. Not examined out of the frame. Pool of London - In an overall very good state of preservation. Probably extremely light time staining to paper. But generally in very good deep colour depth and vibrancy. Not examined out of the frame.
