The Golden Twenties While quadratic watches were particularly popular with women in the 1920s, men began to move from their round pocket watches to wristwatches. The elegant 1920s retro-look perfectly meets the philosophy of the brand and evokes memories of unbelievably glamorous social events. The Carrée Automatic The Classic Carrée Automatic appears in two versions with a rose gold-plated and polished or exclusively polished stainless steel casing. The silver-coloured dial is characterised by the famous "Heartbeat" opening at the 12 o'clock position, which Frederique Constant is so famous for, and which gives a free view of the beating heart of the FC-310 calibre. As well as artistic guilloche the dial has elegant black Roman numerals, which are imprinted on the outermost edge, and Breguet hands, which turn gracefully above the surface. The automatic movement with spiral grinding can be seen through the see-through casing base. The watches are complete by a black or dark brown leather strap.
