Freemason Masonic Walking Stick, Cane

Freemason walking stick cane with black shaft & the Masonic Square and Compass symbol with the G, honoring the Great Architect, along with the Sun and All Seeing Eye symbols are embossed on the 2" D gold tone metal handle. The black metal shaft has a 3 piece segmented design. At each pewter colored section, the sections unscrew for storage/ travel & measures 37 1/4" from top of the handle to bottom of rubber tip. The Masonic Square and Compasses encircled by Virtus Junxit Mors Non Separabit which translates to : What Virtue Has Joined Together Death Shall Not Separate. The history of Freemasonry encompasses the origins, evolution, and defining events of the fraternal organization known as Freemasonry. Firstly, the emergence of organized lodges of operative masons during the Middle Ages, then the admission of lay members as "accepted" or speculative masons, and finally the evolution of purely speculative lodges, and the emergence of Grand Lodges to govern them. The watershed in this process is generally taken to be the formation of the first Grand Lodge in London in 1717.
