French 1930 Art Deco lamp

A wonderful French art deco lamp in wrought iron made around 1925-1930. The forged base is of excellent quality with nice detailed hammering. The fabric shade is a new handmade replacement. 90 years old fabric shades are always in miserable condition. The lamp is 34,5 cm high. The shade has a diameter of 20 cm. It is in very good condition. The wrought iron base has a nice dark-grey patina and an egg gloss appearance. It is rewired with new cloth covered twisted cord. I replaced the old bayonet socket for a modern E27 one. I will add a good quality LED bulb with an equivalent of 40 watt. Originaly old French lamps had B22 bayonet sockets. But they are very unpractical. Good quality modern light bulbs are hardly available. And for professional restorers 90 years old sockets are forbidden to use being too dangerous. For the States or Japan I will rewire the lamp with a US candelabra base socket and US 2-prong plug.
