French: An 18 Carat Gold Duplex Full Hunter Pocket Watch, signed French, Royal Exchange, London, 1855, single chain fusee duplex movement signed and numbered 10494, split bimetallic balance, diamond endstone, enamel dial with Roman numerals, seconds dial, case covers with engine turning, cuvette cover finely engraved with a family crest, case maker's mark ?PM and a London gold hallmark for 1855 47mm wide

Case with surface scratches, engine turning rubbed to the case covers, inside front cover with hallmarks rubbed, maker's mark is rubbed, cuvette cover with an engraved family crest, dial with small hairline cracks between 5 and 6 o'clock, hand setting correctly and winding smoothly, movement in going order. Total watch weight 82g. We are happy to provide Condition Reports to prospective buyers, but would welcome your request as soon as possible, preferably at least 48 hours before the Day of Sale. We cannot guarantee a reply to any requests made within 48 hours of the start of the auction. The absence of a Condition Report from a lot does not mean that the lot is in perfect condition.
