French Antique Silver Drageoir - Confiture Pot with Spoon - Silver, Crystal - France - 1798-1838

A stunning French antique silver drageoir otherwise known as a confiture pot. Stamped with various hallmarks including the orfèvrerie mark used between 1793-1798 and the Indre-Chateauroux mark used between 1819-1838 along with the makers mark. It comes with a silver Christofle spoon of a later date of which has been positively acid tested to be silver. Gross weight 231g The actual silver weight including the spoon is 124g The drageoir measures 9. 5cm high base to the top of the handle x 8. 25cm high base to the rim x 6. 75cm rim diameter.
