French Brass and Glass Mantel Clock. Brass case with beveled glass font, back, and sides. White enameled dial with roman numeral numbering. Single chime movement, lacking pendulum. Markings to the movement reverse, '7947, UF Brevete S.G.D.G. in star'. France. Early 20th century. {Approximate dimensions: 10 3/4 high x 6 wide x 2 7/8 inches deep.}. Condition: Significant patina to the brass, the top has gone mostly red. Hairline cracks to the bottom of the dial.
