French chinoiserie Faience pottery mantle clock having a 5 inch silvered dial with applied brass hour numbers, inset glazed pottery center, brass hands and hinged brass door bezel with beveled crystal; round brass 8 day spring driven movement has a half hour strike on a coiled gong. In a Faience glazed pottery case signed with impressed mark for "Jules Vieillard, Bordeaux, France", has a plinth top with blue seated foo dog, hexagonal body with elephant head handles on the sides and stands on 4 feet. In very nice condition, no chips or hairlines in the case, movement is running and striking. 16.5 in. high x 11.5 in. wide x 4.75 in. deep. Weight: 10.75 lbs.
