French Clock With Thermometer
A late 19th century French wall clock with thermometer. Replaced Urgos 30-hr spring driven clock movement with half-hour bell strike and painted metal dial with Roman numerals. Mixed wood case with Walnut finish, features a broken arch crest over an upper thermometer with milk glass dial flanked by two pairs of turned fluted columns, over a spindled gallery and lower clock within a carved cartouche flanked by two additional pair of columns. Older refinishing with some wear, replaced movement, running when cataloged. 16 1/4 x 41 1/2" high overall. ESTIMATE $200-300
