French D.B Dumonthier Dagger, Percussion Double Barrel Pistol, circa 1855-60. Two slightly tapering barrels, fitted with a tapering blade cut on each side with a long fuller. Fitted with hammers forming the left-hand side of the cross-guard, folding concealed trigger, fitted with a pair of writhen silver grip-scales, in its original leather-covered wooden scabbard with brass mounts. Length 49 cm.
