French Gilt Bronze and Porcelain Mantle Clock. Hand-painted roman numeral dial decorated floral swag; hand-painted figural scenes and floral accents on porcelain panels. Movement has been replaced with a modern quartz AA battery movement. Montargis written on the dial, along with additional marking. {Approximate dimensions: 14 1/2 high x 11 1/2 wide x 5 1/2 inches deep.}. Condition: Minor wear to the gilt bronze body, mostly around the edges. Minor loss to parcel gilt and paint on the porcelain. Later movement. Hairline cracks to the dial.
