French Henri II Style Carved Walnut Marble Top Dresser, 19th c., the stepped crown above an arched wide beveled rectangular mirror above two candle stand glove drawers, on a base with an inset highly figured rouge marble, over a long frieze drawer above two incised carved cupboard doors flanked by turned tapered columns to a plinth base on turned tapered feet, H.- 81 in., W.- 45 1/2 in., D.- 20 in.
Condition Report: Condition consistent with age and use. Dowels for securing upper parts not present. One drawer pull not present. Some chips and scratches present throughout per normal wear and tear. One door is either warped or the lock hardware is stuck and cannot currently be opened. No key present. Wide drawer does not work smoothly. Small drawers work smoothly. Nothing to report about mirror. Marble is reddish-brown.
