French light cavalry saber or horse artillery from the revolution period, in the scabbard. ORIGINAL Length in the scabbard 96 cm. the length of the saber without the scabbard 95 cm BLADE: length 83,5 CONDITION: good. Sharpened and cleaned. Set in handle without loose play. MAIN SIGNATURES: manufacturer's mark under the mustache, shown in the photo HANDLE: closed, brass. Wood, probably walnut, braided, no damage. Braid made of copper wire. SCABBARD: leather, reinforced at the top and bottom with brass fittings. Neck without collar. Scabbard with two handles and movable support wheels. Skin cut from the blade side. The wire connecting the brass parts with the skin was broken. Its remains are stuck in the skin and fittings. As a result, the fittings slide loosely on the skin. Vagina length: 89 cm.
