Antique Victorian French 1890s-1900s Limoges Platter, plate, depicting a pair of water birds, flowers, decorated with royal gold Belle Epoque floral design.
The Limoges dish is hand-painted and signed by the porcelain artist J. Golse. There are two marks on the bottom, the small green mark 'Limoges / France', and red mark 'Limoges / LOUC / France', there is an additional blind 'cross' mark under glaze. The dish has four holes at the back for hanging.
