French Porcelain Lidded Urn, Hand-Painted, Signed

A large and impressive French porcelain lidded urn, c.1915. Hand-painted urn depicting a courting couple within a luxuriant landscape garden setting. Artist signed Poileviiy. Green glaze with abundant gilt decoration depicting laurel leaves and a swag motif. Measures 31.5" high, 11" diameter. The brass base plate stamped "Made in France". The lid is removable and the mid-section is removable from the base.
