Two Late 19th Century French Porcelain Parrots. Similarly designed porcelain figures of parrots, both with brightly colored feathers, perched on tree trunks that are clad with flowers, leaves, and vines. Each with crossed arrows in blue under glaze (Bloch/Bourgeois Factory, Paris), one with retailer's mark "Ovington New York, France" in red, over glaze. Some chipping to leafy and floral motif, one with small chip to tip of beak, light wear to painted decoration. 8 1/4 x 14 5/8" high. ESTIMATE $600-800
