French Provincial Carved Oak Louis XV Style Armoire, 19th c., probably Brittany, the carved corner crown over arched three panel double doors with floral and rosette carving, with brass escutcheons and fiche hinges, on cabriole legs joined by a serpentine skirt, H.- 86 in., W.- 56 in., D.- 22 in.
Condition Report: Condition consistent with age and use. Two panels in the proper let door have shifted, showing 1/8 inch of bare wood on the long side. Shrinkage cracks in all four panels. Old wood worm damage present, with shrinkage crack to the top proper left panel. Bare wood scrape on that panel. All three side panels on proper right show bare wood on edges.
