French Provincial Inlaid Carved Walnut Louis XV Style Sideboard, 19th c., the ogee edge rectangular top over two long frieze drawers with iron escutcheons and fiche hinges, separated by an inlaid panel, and flanked by reeded rounded pilasters, on a plinth base on scrolled cabriole legs, H.- 39 in., W.- 56 1/2 in., D.- 24 1/4 in.
Condition Report: Center shrinkage crack on top. Old worm damage to top. Old repair on proper right center of top. 2 ½ in. loss to edge at old repair. Proper left cupboard door is slightly warped. Key present. Proper left and right sides have shrinkage cracks. Wood on sides has shifted and you can see unfinished edges o both sides. Condition consistent with age and use.
