Depicts three young ladies with flowers vying for the attention of a gentleman seated at a garden table with books and scrolls. Signed "A. Barbier" (n.d.) lower right. Canvas with repairs, 2" tear to canvas mid left, overall thinning and craquelure with some surface wear, scrapes and grunge. Image 77 x 46" high, in a Gilded wood frame with some losses, 80 x 49 1/2" high overall. ESTIMATE $800-1,200
