Condition Report: Lined canvas. Surface dirt and dust. A few scattered spots of matte accretion, possibly paint, particularly to the lower half of the work. A yellow accretion, likely paint, at right side of upper edge. Finely patterned craquelure, most visible on the face. Slight yellowing to the varnish layer. Not examined out of frame due to size.
Under UV: varnish fluoresces green unevenly. Brushy retouching to lower edge and both lower corners. A very few finely applied dots of retouching to the woman's dress.
