French Wall Clock

A late 19th century French open well wall clock. 8-day time and strike movement with engraved Brass dial and silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals. Fancy Oak case with applied cast Brass decoration features a pediment crest with upper finial over a square dial door with circular glass flanked by turned columns and lower gallery above an open well with Brass gallery and a shaped lower drop. Older finish with minor wear, running momentarily when cataloged. 45 1/2" high. ESTIMATE $600-800
