French art deco pair of sconces in the manner of Leleu Wrought Iron

Made in France in the 1940's this pair of sconces is most likely a design from Leleu or inspired by his work.The originality of Leleu's work is found in his way to play with organic design on a classic set up .This pair will fit any modernist interior and can bring a warmer touch to a pure mid century style furniture set. Metal body , acrylic shade , rewired with US candelabra socket , This style was in vogue during the 1940's blending rustic wrought iron and art deco motive .
Rewired , size H.12 in x W.14 in x D.8 ( including glass globe ) , globe D.8 in , US compliant E12 socket , wrought iron body , molded glass reflector with gold leaf motive partially wipe off , some oxidation to the metal.
