French salon cabinet

Known as a "meuble d'entre deux", made in the Louis XV revival style, circa 1900, by the cabinet maker Joseph-Emanuel Zwiener. An oak cabinet with rosewood veneer, serpentine shaping on 3 sides, as well as bombé shaping, decorated with marquetry panels and latticework, with 2 doors, 1 compartment, finely chased gilt bronze mounts and a moulded marble top (Fleur de Pecher de Villefranche). Stamped on the front left support E. ZWIENER. Ca. 93.5 x 73 x 45 cm. In very fine and professionally restored condition. ASB (MIN)
