French signed, hand painted, 'Moon' vase, ca 1880

French hand painted 'Moon' vase now mounted as a lamp, late 19th century, of flattened circular form, with gilt handles flanking a reserve depicting a pastoral scene of shepherdesses with their flocks, reversing to a floral spray, all on a pink ground, signed in the reserve, 'L. Malerbaud, 1880,' having a single socket, with a custom silk shade, vase 14"h x 12"w x 4.24"d; overall with shade 27"h x 17"w x 12"d.
