From the Estate of Architect and Painter David Wittmann (1904-1962) - Antique Austro-Hungarian tri-vessel Candelabara, end of 19th century, comprised of a candlestick leg and on it the tri-vessel candlestick is applied (one inseperable unit), decorated with handcarvings of Guilloche and typical patterns, to the bottom a handwritten inscription of the artist name in English: 'Witman'. Signed, weight: 911 gr, height: 57 cm, upper part diameter of about 30 cm. Apparently went through a repair to the connection of one of the vessel tips. *David Wittmann (2.12.1904 - 1.8.1962) was an Israeli architect and painter active mainly in Haifa. From the founders of the Ein Hod artist village in 1953. Planned and built the Chagall House and the Artists House in Haifa.
