Surface cracking and stretcher marks are visible, but the paint surface is stable and in good original condition. It has four small patches on the reverse, one to the right of the hotel and three are in the sky. There are small areas of inpainting in these places and other scattered retouchings, but these are minor and not visible to the naked eye. There is a repaired tear in the lower right corner (approx. 4 x 4 cm) which has been invisibly mended on the reverse and there is a small amount on inpainting in this region. It has been cleaned and re-varnished and can be hung without further attention. It is presented in a gilded wooden 19th Century frame. Condition Report Disclaimer
