Each suspended with two organic shaped drops, signed Georg Jensen and Minas Spiridis, numbered 1459, mounted in 18ct gold, gross weight approximately 19.20 grams, length 3.70cm.

Minas Spiridis was a Greek jeweller and one of the more recent designers to come into the Georg Jensen fold. Deeply immersed in the world of music from a young age, Minas first thought of becoming a violinist. At the age of 15, he ended up entering the workshop of Angelos Vourakis, jeweller to the Queen, Onassis and Niarchos. In 1969, he moved to New York City and found himself in the workshop of David Webb at the height of his fame, with his figurative pieces weighed down with stones. He began hanging out with the in-crowd and met Elsa Peretti. In 1980, despite Jensen wanting him to relocate his studio to Copenhagen, Minas returned to live and work in Greece, where he continued to work until his passing in early 2020.

He was first non-Scandinavian designer to create objects for Georg Jensen.
