GEORGE FULTON, ALLEGHANY CO., VALLEY OF VIRGINIA DECORATED DIMINUTIVE PITCHER, salt-glazed, approximately one-pint capacity, ovoid form with bold beaded rim and two incised shoulder rings below the neck ring. Brushed cobalt dropped feather decoration repeated twice with floral decoration to neck, spout with six horizontal dashes and vertical stripes flanking. Attributed to George N. Fulton (1834-1894) Pottery, Arritts, Alleghany Co., VA. 1867-1885. 6" H, 3 5/8" D rim.
Lacking handle, shallow chip and hairline to spout, with flake to base.
