The mixed media on paper is signed and dated 1939 lower right with inscription 'Cape Cod,' extreme lower right bears the title 18 Undressing, a William Rockhill Nelson Museum Gallery of Art Atkins Museum of Fine Arts exhibition label verso.

Sight size 22.5 x 14.75, frame measures 31 x 23.5 inches.

Provenance: The estate of Morton and Estelle Sosland.
In Kansas City, the Sosland family name is synonymous with both giving, and the arts. Of their many contributions to the community, 'The Soslands gave one of the nation's finest private collections of American Indian art to the Nelson-Atkins' museum (nelson-atkins.org).
