each signed Jouve and with the artist's cypher
largest: 12 x 17½ x 4¼ in. (30.4 x 44.4 x 10.7 cm)

Condition Report:
Overall in excellent condition. Ceramic surfaces present with very minor surface scratches consistent with age and gentle use. Some very minor irregularities to the glazed bodies of the birds, concentrated to the front of the larger bird and inherent to the firing process. Some signs of built up tobacco smoke to ceramic surfaces, easily cleaned. Metal surfaces with varied areas of patina, consistent with age and gentle use. A whimsical pair of birds by Jouve. Both birds have been viewed under blacklight and show no signs of prior restoration.
