White enamelled surface, the flared rim with gilt band, gilt interior and underside.
The hallmarked on the outer surface has been incorporated into the design and covered with translucent enamel and within a gilt border.
height 9cm.

An early example of Benney's enamelling.
It was not until 1971 that Benney's translucent enamels were perfected.
