Imperial German Model 1889 Cavalry Trooper's Dedication Sword of the 5th Chevaulegers Regiment. Straight, bright blade with fuller. Triple acid etching on red / dark grey background depicting patriotic and floral design with inscription "Zur erinnerung an meine Dienlfziet", and "5. Chev. Reg. Erzherzoh Albrecht Von Osterreich" with floral and patriotic patterns on the reverse. No visible maker marks. Silver-nickel plated hilt with Bavarian lion cypher inset to folding guard. Ribbed composite grip. No scabbard. Blade Length: 31 7/8" | Total Length: 37 1/4"
Condition Report: Good. Blade has dark spots and faded etching background. Hilt has finish wear.
