GERMAN K98 PARADE BAYONET
German K98 parade bayonet, 14.5 in. long with a 9.5 in. blade. The rivets of the checkered grip display some patina, otherwise very good. The blade is in near excellent condition, showing only light running marks, maker marked on the ricasso by firm Rich. Abr. Herder of Solingen. Housed within a black painted steel scabbard, also with a leather frog, both pieces unmarked. The scabbard retains nearly all of the paint. Overall, a very nice example.
